These are the cocktails you want to make for Halloween...

Halloween is here and that means deep gel nail polish colors like our new freak show collection, fake cobweb decor, graves popping out of the neighbor’s front lawns, awesome zombi-fied makeup, and tons of  candy that you may or may not be borrowing from your 10 year old.

That’s all good and grand, spooky and exciting, but what we really need after this devil of a year is a ton of super decorated cocktail drinks that come with a stout kick.

Let’s face it, growing older doesn’t mean the fun has to stop this holiday, it just means more alcohol should be involved.

Eager to  kick back and relax this Halloween, we’ve compiled our personal favorites for the spooky night!

Poison Apple Martini

Found on the Half Baked Harvest blog, this tasty Martini is sure to be a party favorite.

“The base of the recipe is made up of four ingredients, apple cider, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and vodka. The drink itself is a blood-red color, but I turned half of my cocktail black by using activated charcoal. I first used activated charcoal last year for my Death Eater Negroni and have loved using it to dye food ever since.”

Ingredients

  • Black lava salt, or coarse black sugar, for rim (optional)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 ounces vodka or apple vodka
  • 1/8 teaspoon activated charcoal for coloring (could also use black food dye)(optional)
  • Dry ice (optional)

    Pumpkin Spice White Russian Cocktail

Obsessed with pumpkin spice? This next one is sure to be your  next holiday favorite, even if you’re not too keen on the typical White Russian. Stay true to the pumpkin appeal by painting your nails with our newest (burnt orange) color.

This Pumpkin Spice White Russian Cocktail is so creamy and delicious. It’s very similar to the classic drink, but with a little kick of pumpkin spice creamer in there.
